Mahendra Singh Dhoni


Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the world famed cricket player. He is a well quipped all round cricket player. He has born in the year 1981 of 7th July at Ranchi in Jharkhand. The nickname of him is Mahi. The height of Dhoni is 5ft 11 inch. He is right handed style of batsman. The bowling style of Dhoni is right arm medium. The fielding position is Wicket Keeper. He is participating in India Cricket team, Asia XI, Bihar, Chennai Super Kings, and Jharkhand.

The first debut of Dhoni is held on second December of 2005 and the match played against the Sri Lanka. Dhoni’s fist One Day International has held on 23rd December 2004 and the match played against the team Bangladesh. The debut Twenty 20 cricket has played against South Africa in 1st December of 2006.

He is the Captain for the international Cricket team. He commenced his arrival in the year 2004 at the international arena with bang as he smashed a superb century 148 runs of 123 balls at his fifth ODI at Vizag that helped India to beat Pakistan easily. On 31st October 2005, M.S.Dhoni has become the foremost wicketkeeper batsman to score 183 runs in ODI in the game against Sri Lanka played at Jaipur.

Under the captaincy of Dhoni India have attained lots of feet in short period of time and the biggest accomplishment of winning the inaugural ICC World twenty20 in South Africa in the year 2007. The significant event of Dhoni is in the triangular series win against Australia in Australia in 2008. Subsequent to that he also aid India Cricket team to beat Australia in the home series by 2-0, also able to beat New Zealand on their home soil after 27 years in March 2009.

Dhoni has two siblings. One sister got married and a brother who lives in Almora. Almora is a high-lying settlement at the foot of the Himalaya that his father’s home town. His father’s name is Pan Singh and mother’s name is Devki Devi.
